Furious Spoon

When you're craving ramen, and you don't know where to go, you turn to your friend google. Google says that you are 40 minutes from home, and there is a really good place 10 minutes away. You've heard of this place, and now you're gonna give it a try.

You walk in, and realize, this is no ordinary ramen joint. There's rap and hip hop playing, a full bar, graffiti on the wall, and an abundant menu of food with different options.

I ended up ordering the "Mother Clucker" ramen bowl. This included, chicken shio broth, honey-ginger chicken breast, crispy shallots, thai basil and lime. Fantastic choice if you're not a lover of super spicy ramen. This bowl had such a rich taste. The chicken was seasoned so well and by leveling up, I did enjoy the poached egg that came with it. I give this bowl an 8/10.

My friend however, went a different route and ordered "The Furious". This included, spicy miso pork broth, house-made chashu, steamed chicken & pork dumplings, garlic relish, marinated mushrooms, fury sauce and a poached egg. If you love spiced foods, this bowl is certain to make your nose run. It had such a blast of flavor and spice, and the dumplings are to die for. She gave this bowl an 8/10 as well.

If there is any critique I would give, it would be to add more vegetables maybe. As good as everything was, having some greens would've balanced out the protein, broth, and noodles.

Overall, between the great service (shoutout Madison), good food, and awesome restaurant. I give Furious Spoon a solid 8.5/10.
